Using my work

1 min read
A lot of people message me about using "my" work. Something I've designed (usually for someone else) for their modeling portfolio or their project. I put "my" in quotes because most of the time I do not own the image in question. If you are not making money on it (like for your demo reel/portfolio), feel free to model away, but please give me credit.

If you're trying to make money off "my" art, then we have problems. The people who own the image you are using are not going to be happy and they're going to be a lot less nice about it than i am. Consider yourself warned.

If you LOVE something I did and want to use it in a project to make money, then just hire me to do something similar :) Chances are I could do that same piece better and faster now.

Thank you.

I will be part of a group art show on Friday February 12th. So soon! So much to do! If you're in the Madison, WI area, stop on by The Inferno. I'll have a couple pieces up as well as an experimental performance piece. This is the first real art show I've ever been a part of. Very exciting times!

The other day, I was swamped at work and decided to stay in for lunch and eat some delicious cheese and crackers. Without hesitation, I began using my Wacom as a cutting board. As I dribbled crumbs onto it's expensive surface, I wondered if others have done the same or perhaps something even more unusual, utilitarian and or careless?

Off hand, here are the things I have used my Wacom for (besides drawing of course):

- cutting board
- pillow
- coaster
- mirror
- stain covering
- drawing table
- drum pad

How bout you?

as some of you may know, I've been working on a horror comic off and on for about a year now. I'm pretty gosh darn excited about it and, like most of my work, plan to make it the best it can be.

sooo, i was wondering if anyone had any good suggestions for horror comics that would be worth checking out? or if you're stumped, a good horror novel recommendation would be appreciated as well.

thanks for the continued support and interest peeps!

I'm going to start cutting off some dicks and skull fucking people with them!

seriously people, can't we evolve beyond this shit:

xbox360media.ign.com/xbox360/i…

xbox360media.ign.com/xbox360/i…

media.teamxbox.com/games/ss/19…

durrrr... why don't people take games seriously as an art form? duurrrrrr... why don't many women play games?

don't get me wrong, i love da females as much as the next horny video game geek. i enjoy porn and i enjoy ogling at women, i've even enjoyed the occasional porno game, but let's keep our porn where it belongs and keep out of realistic action games.

lets put aside our advance rendering tech with all its shinny buzz words and focus on some good character design.

we can still have pretty girls in games, but let's make them look like they could actually kick some ass and protect their vital organs.
